Your challenge, if you accept it, is to attempt to create a 3D human head face of magnets, as accurately as possible. In order to succeed, you will need a lot more than just geometric precision and a steady hand, you’ll also need a fair amount of artistic intuition. It’s not a requirement to create the entire head, just the frontal features of a human face.

No magnet limit. Zen Magnets only. Your sculpture must be made only of magnets. Normally we say “don’t aim to make the most amazing sculpture”, but let’s be real; most of your energies will be probably be dedicated to crafting the face. Just make sure the features are well represented by the lighting. Use not your bright reflective flash, but instead a self-timer and a tripod (or stand.)

As usual, the judges will be your peers. Pay attention to resolution, focus, lighting and framing. There will be at least FOUR winners, possibly more depending on participation. The prize for first place in this difficult contest will be $150 Zen Credits, usable on zenmagnets.com or neoballs.com. Everything you submit goes into the public domain. Have fun!

Submission deadline is the end of  June.
